This spectacular falls is located at the end of a nine-mile round trip hike. Even here, several hundred feet from the falls, the spray was enough that I had to wipe my lens off between every two or three shots! The river was raging when we were there, and I am clinging to a rock as far out as I could get, you can see my foot at the bottom of the image resting on a small rock. I really wanted to set up a log-bridge to get to a large rock in the middle of the river, but in the interests of not getting washed down the freezing river I had to call it off...
