Deep in Fern Canyon the iconic high fern-covered walls eventually become more shallow, and yield to more greenery. This is one of those places, of which there are many, where you can only get past (without getting your shoes wet) if you’re tricky. The ferns hanging from every surface make it a spectacular place to enjoy and photograph. This verdant creek is located in Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park in Northern California.
