The Diving Board is a spectacular prominence in Yosemite National Park. Perched precariously at the top of a cliff, it's quite a feat to reach this point! It's well off the beaten path and well worth the hike; one of the few places at this overcrowded national park where you can still find solitude. It also rewards the adventurous with an amazing view of Half Dome, as immortalized in Ansel Adams 1927 photograph "Monolith".
