This picturesque lake is located in the Mt. Jefferson Wilderness in central Oregon. To find this unnamed vernal pool, you'll have to hike nearly 10 miles, ending up well off-trail. This was the first panorama I shot, as I discovered it right at sunset, with perfect light. A truely magical sight.
